Digital Dental Cameras

Digital macro photography uses special sensors to capture high-resolution images inside the mouth that can be immediately uploaded and displayed on the monitor.

Such images allow us to view the mouth that is closest to reality, with details that can might only be seen through professional loupes. Macro photography helps our patients appreciate their dental conditions and more actively participate in their treatment.

Digital Panoramic and 3-D Cone Beam Technology

Digital 3-D Cone Beam Technology allows to capture the entire mouth in multiple ear- to-ear three-dimensional panoramic CT images including teeth, jaws, sinuses and surrounding tissues. As they are digital, the images are high-quality, provide a lot of additional information and are ready to view and analyse within a minute.

3-D Technology can be an invaluable aid in complex treatment planning, including dental implants, wisdom tooth extraction and challenging root canal treatments.

Learn more about where we use this technology:

Intra-Oral Scanner

Our intra-oral scanner enables us to produce digital impressions of patients’ teeth that take a short time to obtain and are very accurate. We rely on the Primescan® Digital Impression Technology to reduce our patients’ appointment time, increase the precision of our dental restorations, and enhance the overall chair-side experience of our patients.

The Primescan® optical impression system is considered by many experts to be the best in the world. It allows us to produce some custom-fitted appliances, such as mouthguards and
implant guides for our patients on-site.

3D Printing

For some of our laboratory needs, we rely on the Asiga® 3D printer. The digital impression taken with our 3-D scanner is sent to the 3-D printer which prints moulds of teeth and dental appliances in a special resin. 3-D appliances constructed in this way have earned an excellent reputation for their precise fit.
